Linen Wallet Is Live on the Polygon Network

Linen Wallet was recently launched on the Polygon Network. This allows iOS users to enjoy the best of DeFi and Web3 on Polygon with unbelievable simplicity, lowering the barriers to crypto for the mainstream audience. Indeed, Linen Wallet is known to be one of the most user-friendly crypto-wallets. Polygon is the default network in Linen Wallet, which also supports Ethereum.

Linen Wallet’s mission is to lower the barriers to crypto and allow everyone to enjoy the best of web3 with unbelievable simplicity. However, transaction fees on Ethereum made the blockchain prohibitive for most crypto enthusiasts, including Linen’s users. Being one of the most adopted and scalable blockchains, Polygon allows crypto users to enjoy DeFi and Web3 with low fees. Thanks to the WalletConnect integration, Linen users can easily connect Linen Wallet to their favorite blockchain applications.

Not only Linen Wallet is user-friendly, but it is also non-custodial and provides users with top-level security thanks to Gnosis Safe’s smart contract. Indeed, Linen is built on Gnosis Safe’s multi-signature architecture, eliminating the single point of failure of most other crypto wallets. It secures the wallet using three keys, and 2 of 3 keys are required to make a transaction—If users lose one key, they still have access to funds.

Integrating Polygon was pretty straightforward as it is an EVM-compatible blockchain, and the Gnosis Safe team had already deployed their contract factory to the Polygon chain. Overall, it took the Linen team a few weeks + additional testing for this integration.

The Polygon integration helps safely onboard millions of new crypto users, who can get the best of DeFi and Web3 without paying high fees and without writing down a seed phrase thanks to Linen’s seamless wallet backup and recovery.

Looking forward, Linen is already working on providing greater assets coverage and releasing new features for its users. For example, the company is looking to add support for NFTs and release an android version of the wallet.
