Trustee Wallet integrate the Polygon Network to enhance the ability to work with crypto assets

Trustee Wallet integrated the Polygon Network. Now you can use all the functionality of the network in one application.

The integration of the Polygon Network into Trustee Wallet began with a test network in early 2021. Then Trustee added the Polygon (Matic) ERC20 token. Trustee now fully integrates support for the original Polygon network. This will provide users with a wider range of options to use second-tier blockchains and, as a result, make faster and cheaper transactions.

History of Polygon Network

The project was launched in 2017 and was called Matic Network, but in February 2021 it was rebranded to Polygon Network, and Matic became the main coin of the network. The team also decided to focus on developing tools to support Full-stack scaling solutions or commit-chain.

The introduction of second-tier solutions allowed the network to scale and at the moment users can make over 5 million transactions per day. The Polygon ecosystem already has over 500 different dApps that allow you to create NFTs, trade on DEX and much more, and the community is constantly growing.

Polygon Network at Trustee Wallet

Trustee Wallet has one of the most extensive functionalities among wallets, therefore, when integrating new coins, they try to provide users with a full range of functions and capabilities of the added asset.

With the Polygon Network integration, Trustee users will be able to:

receive, send and safely store MATIC as well as MATIC erc20;

buy MATIC and MATIC erc20 via bank card, as well as exchange them for other assets in the wallet;

store tokens on the Polygon network, for example, ETH matic, USDT matic, USDC matic, as well as add custom tokens using the smart contract address;

store NFTs created on the Polygon blockchain;

exchange MATIC and tokens for other crypto assets using the DEX integrated inside the application;

connect to various DeFi services on the Polygon blockchain using WalletConnect.

With the introduction of this functionality, Polygon Network users get a wide range of capabilities in one application, which can significantly reduce the time spent on various operations and save on network fees (a few cents compared to tens of US dollars in the Ethereum network).

Let them remind you that Trustee Wallet is the organizer of the international conference “Money of the Future”, which was held on September 25, 2021, where their team was able to implement the entrance to the conference using NFT tickets. More than 300 NFT tickets were created on the Polygon blockchain, which is rightfully considered the world’s first large-scale off-line event involving the resources of the Polygon Network.

Next step

In the future, they plan to expand the number of ways to buy and sell MATIC, as well as the number of exchange providers that will work not only with MATIC, but also with tokens. This will significantly simplify the entry of users into the Polygon ecosystem and the growth of members of the entire crypto community. They are also committed to popularizing their Polygon NFT ticket solution for various conferences, so they look forward to new partners.
