Polygon August Adrenaline —DeFi 11 Spotlight

Polygon has been one of the fastest-growing Dapp platforms for Ethereum scaling, rapidly becoming the de-facto standard for DeFi, NFTs, and Blockchain Gaming with 500+ Dapps, ~7M daily txns, and 1.8M+ unique wallets.

The rise of gaming on Polygon has been especially noticeable, with more than 100,000 blockchain gamers on Polygon and top Web 3 games, and DeFi 11 is one of them, building high-quality gaming experiences thanks to Polygon’s high speed and fast confirmation times.

Polygon has 5–6x more gaming and NFT Dapps more than any other chain outside of Ethereum at around 300+ and already works with more than 50% of today’s blockchain-based web 3.0 games and NFT platforms, including Decentraland, Opensea, Sandbox. Polygon has the best NFT DeFi composability out of all blockchains outside of Ethereum due to the large number of gaming NFT applications on Polygon coupled with DeFi bluechip Dapps such as Aave, Curve, Sushiswap, and Balancer.

Polygon’s tight-knit and exponentially growing gamer community is what led to the creation of Polygon Studios: a brand new arm at Polygon that is focused on growing the global Blockchain Gaming and NFT Industry, and bridging the gap between Web 2 and Web 3 gaming.

Introducing Polygon August Adrenaline: an initiative to highlight and get to know the Gaming & NFT projects on Polygon a little better!

Please tell us more about your project and your team.

DeFi11, a decentralized gaming ecosystem introduces a twin concept to bring gamification and DeFi for the masses. The protocol has been designed on top of layer 2 blockchain Matic and powered by smart-contracts that check data abuse, creation of dummy winners and financial frauds in the gaming verse. The protocol has also implemented NFTs as a core concept that will bring live 3D experience and tokenize your gaming assets for financial gains. On top of this, it has also revolutionized the prediction market in its coming phases of development with P2P interaction between players with no third party intervention, rather, establishing code as the supreme above all forms of centralisation.

Where are we in the hype cycle for gaming and NFT’s?

The second module to the ecosystem is the NFT virtual hybrid world. It is a complete hybrid world combining virtuality and reality.

Who are some thought leaders you follow in the space?

What are some best ways for newbies to get up to speed in the space?

We generally think there are 5 basic prospects that define the process for newbies to analyze projects.
1.) Price
2.) Prospects for Adoption
3.)Supply
4.)Price and Volume
5.) Team and Pace of Development

What is one thing that most people don’t know about your project?

The most popular thing that people don’t know about our project is DeFi11 isn’t just an ordinary mobile application. It’s a complete ecosystem with a smart in-built wallet. DeFi signifies obvious stuff Decentralised Finance. While 11 depicts the gaming ecosystem. 11 games to come under the umbrella. All games unique in themselves. All our games are completely DeFi powered and decentralised.

Why did you choose to build on Polygon?

We are chain agnostic and can run on any possible blockchain. But our preferred chain for now is Polygon because of the fast transaction speed and low transaction cost there.

About Polygon

Polygon is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building and connecting Secured Chains like Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollups, Validium, etc, and Standalone Chains like Polygon POS, designed for flexibility and independence. Polygon’s scaling solutions have seen widespread adoption with 450+ Dapps, ~350M txns, and ~13.5M+ unique users.

If you’re an Ethereum Developer, you’re already a Polygon developer! Leverage Polygon’s fast and secure txns for your Dapp, get started here.
